DAN VAZQUEZ
Trustee and Chairman

 

Dan Vazquez served in the US Air Force from November 1979 to March 1998. After retiring from the Air Force, he held Director positions for two companies before joining CyrusOne in October of 2000. During his fifteen-year career with CyrusOne, he held a few Vice President positions. He left CyrusOne in 2015 and started his own Data Center Consulting company. Along with his Data Center consulting company, he also has partnered with a friend and started two other companies He was a deacon at Kingwood Presbyterian Church from 2005-2007 and currently is an elder at Grand Lakes Presbyterian Church. He has been on the board of the Stoller Foundation since 2012.

EDDY HALLOCK
Trustee/ Executive Director

Eddy Hallock native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma and Masters from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.

Over a 48-year career ministry, he pastored several churches and served as a missionary in Brazil for 15 years. He served as the director of evangelism for the Carioca Convention and was executive director of the Governor’s Island Baptist Association.

Hallock’s cultural experiences in the 2 countries have been a great asset to him as he served for 13 years as the Minister of Missions at Tallowood church in Houston.

Among his administrative role Eddy was the liaison between Tallowood and 5 other ethnic churches that met on their campus; worked with refugees, helped start new churches, and led over 25 mission trips overseas with volunteers to do philanthropic and Christian ministry, especially among the underserved.

Eddy is currently the executive director of the Stoller Foundation in Houston, Texas. He is married to Brenda. They have 4 children and 7 grandchildren.

 

SAM YOON
Chief Financial & Investment Officer

Sam Yoon has diverse industry and international experiences, having worked in oil & gas, heavy industries, electronic, metal and restaurant industries across US, Europe & Asia.  Prior to joining Stoller Foundation, Sam was the President of Yogurtland Franchising Inc., served as the CFO at BJC Heavy Industries PCL and as the Planning Director and in other commercial roles with BP.  Sam’s experience also includes commercial & marketing roles with LG and Poongsan, as well as consulting work with the Thai government.  He received his MBA from the University of Cambridge.

 

XOCHILT CRUZ
Trustee

Xochilt Cruz has been living in Houston, Texas for over 12 years. She was born in Nicaragua and grew up in South Florida. Upon moving to Houston, she began to work in the Oil and Gas industry in various administrative support roles. She holds a BBA degree from Florida International University.

In April 2015, she began working for the Stoller Group as an Executive Assistant and became a Trustee of the Stoller Foundation Board in 2016.

Xochilt has served in numerous church-leadership roles since her college years. She enjoys volunteering her time to work with adolescents and young children.

 

MADAY GONZALEZ REDD
Trustee/ Associate Director

Maday Gonzalez Redd is a first-generation Cuban American born and raised in Miami, FL. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Florida International University and later earned a Master’s degree in business. Maday has worked under the Stoller Group umbrella since 2010.

Throughout the years, she has also served with several ministry groups and nonprofits in various areas and capacities. One of her joys and passions is to work in a community serving others. “…use your freedom to serve one another in love.” Galatians 5:13

 

DR. LUIS CAMPOS
Trustee

Dr. Campos was born in Huancayo, Peru. He attended Colegio San Andres, a Scottish missionary school in Lima, after which he was able to pursue his lifelong dream and obtained his medical degree at Edinburgh University Medical School in Scotland. While in Edinburgh he met Ruth Gilmour, they were married before coming to the United States. Dr. Campos started his cardiology practice at Memorial City Hospital in 1974 and retired from clinical and interventional cardiology in 2018.

In 2003, Luis, Ruth, and a group of friends from South Main Baptist Church conceived and founded "Operacion San Andres" OSA provides holistic assistance to the impoverished community of Collique, Comas, a shanty town located north of Lima. OSA has a full-time staff to provide year-round nutritional, educational, and spiritual help. Luis has received numerous awards for his medical and humanitarian work. Ruth and Luis have been members of South Main Baptist Church, Houston since 1973 and they are Honored Deacons. In his spare time, Luis expresses himself through watercolor painting.

 

MICHAEL LU
Trustee

Michael Lu is a Licensed Healthcare Administrator and Management Consultant and serves multiple healthcare entities in the Houston area. An alumnus of The University of St Mary (KS), Michael received a double Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Biology. He has an MBA in Healthcare Management and a Master of Arts in Strategic Management. His Non-Profit Governance Certification is from Harvard Business School. Michael is a former Management Consultant for McKinsey & Co and Strategic Logistics officer in the US Air Force Reserves, He has over 22 years of Operations, Healthcare, and Logistics experience.

Michael is married to Hannah. They have 2 children and live in the Copperfield area in Houston. He is active with multiple Non-Profits in Texas, including Texas 4000 for Cancer, the Houston Suzuki Festival, Paratus Classical Academy, ACHE Houston, and Southern Elite cycling. Michael has gone on many mission trips, teaches a married-adult bible study, sings tenor in the choir, and serves on multiple committees at Tallowood Baptist Church.

 

SEONGAE KIM
Missions Director & Trustee

Seongae Kim has served on the Board of the Stoller Foundation since 2016 and is also a board member of Life Tree Ministries which focuses on helping refugee children and families through education. She served as one of the leaders in Campus Crusade for Christ and led children and youth ministries over the years.

 

 

BRYAN TANTZEN
Trustee

Bryan Tantzen works in the High Tech Industry at Cisco Systems focused on the Internet of Things (IoT) and was previously a Vice President at i2 Technologies and before that at McKinsey & Company working with clients on strategy, operational improvements, and growth.  

Bryan holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MA in International Affairs and Japanese from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania.  A Houston native, Bryan has lived or worked extensively outside of the US including in France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, and Korea (and visited over 55 countries).  

Bryan is married to Noriko, and they have 2 children.  Bryan has led or participated in numerous mission trips including to Japan, Brazil, Nicaragua, Panama, Moldova, and locations within the US.  Bryan also formerly led the Missions Committee at Tallowood Baptist Church in Houston and has volunteered with multiple Christian ministries.

 

DR. NAM BAEK
Associate Director

Nam became a child of God during his college by accepting Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior. By God’s grace and mercy, he has continued his journey of sanctification; worshiping HIM; and serving in churches, non-profits, and the needy. After he got a doctoral degree in engineering, he worked for an oil and chemical company primarily in the areas of environmental protection and resource conservation. After retirement, he was invited to work at the Stoller Foundation to further the Foundation’s mission. One of his daily prayers is “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”

 

CHEVONNE POTTER
Grant Manager

Chevonne was born and raised in Houston, TX. She started her college education at USL in Lafayette, LA, and later graduated from Sam Houston State University with a BS in Health and a minor in Psychology. While attending Sam Houston she met her husband, Aaron, and later moved to Houston. In 2000, Chevonne started her non-profit career at the YMCA as the Youth and Teen Program Director. After going back to her background and interest in health, Chevonne started working at Bering Omega Community Services as the Day Treatment Director for people with HIV/AIDS. After becoming a mom and wanting to be closer to home, she helped open the first Nabor House Community in Cypress, TX, an initiative of the Stoller Foundation. She currently works as the General Accountant and Grant Associate for Stoller Foundation. She loves working in the nonprofit world where she knows she is making a difference.

Chevonne and her husband, Aaron, have two teenage girls and live in the Cypress area. She is a member of Cypress Family Church and enjoys volunteering. In her spare time, she loves enjoying her “patio time” with her husband, watching her daughters play sports, and doing anything in the sun, especially hanging out with their German Shepherd, Vincent.

 

DOLORES LORENZO
Administrative Associate

Dolores R. Lorenzo has worked in development at Houston Baptist University for 3 years serving alongside several key executives and decision-makers. Before that, she worked for the Aldine ISD for a total of 15 years serving in many facets of Human Resources.

Dolores has 4 adult children and 2 grandchildren and is a member of Second Baptist Church. “The Lord is near to all who call on Him” Psalm 145:18

 

FAITH NASH
Grant Associate

Faith Nash was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Lone Star College in 2017, achieving her Associate of Arts degree with her high school diploma. In 2021, she graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Education, specializing in Nonprofit Leadership Studies and becoming a Certified Nonprofit Professional. She also completed an internship at the Stoller Foundation.

Faith has a particular passion for the arts, teaching, and ultimately, spreading the light and love of Jesus Christ. From serving children and youth in ministry to adults in college, her past occupations have primarily revolved around teaching individuals of all ages and public speaking. With her experience in teaching and public speaking, she hopes to continue to spread the Word of God through her God-given gifts and talents.

ALEVTINA CHERNOVA
Finance & Accounting Manager

Alevtina Chernova is an accomplished finance professional with a strong foundation in accounting, holding an MBA in Finance from Oral Roberts University and a Master’s in International Business and Economics.

With a background spanning diverse industries, Alevtina brings a unique perspective to finance and accounting, blending global insights with a hands-on approach to challenges. From navigating the intricacies of international business to scaling the peaks of financial management and accounting, her journey is a testament to a relentless pursuit of excellence.

As a Christian, Alevtina carries her faith into every aspect of her life, infusing her work with values of integrity, compassion, and a commitment to ethical practices.

Beyond the boardrooms and balance sheets, Alevtina finds her passion in the thrill of horseback riding and the exhilaration of rock climbing. These hobbies not only keep her physically active but also instill in her the values of perseverance, focus, and the joy of conquering new heights—values that seamlessly translate into her professional life.
